Director and Managing Director

He was born in Japan in 1975, grew up in the USA and studied theatre and English in Munich. During that time, he had a side job as an extra and guest performer at Munich ´s Residenztheater. After finishing his degree, he switched sides; he completed his first directing internship under Franz Xaver Kroetz. He became an assistant director at Schauspielhaus Bochum when Elmar Goerden assumed its artistic directorship, and it was there that he developed his first productions in the years that followed. In 2009, he began his stint as resident director and member of the management team of Rottstr 5 Theater. Along with Oliver Paolo Thomas, Dreher now serves as managing director of that little yet prestigious fringe theatre in Bochum, a position he has held since 2011.

Director and Managing Director

Born in the Black Forest region, she has staged children ´s and youth theatre productions at Consol Theater since 2001. Her work is rooted in dance and choreography, and she has even been on stage as an actress at a variety of theatres. She has also directed various works at theatres in Cologne, Düsseldorf and Zurich. At Consol Theater, she is a member of the three-person managerial team and directs productions for toddlers, school children and teens. Many of her productions have been invited to renowned festivals abroad and honoured with awards; in 2013 her production of "Die besseren Wälder" ("The Better Woods") was nominated for the German theatre award "Der Faust". In 2009 and 2011, Andrea Kramer served on the advisory board of the festival "Augenblick Mal!"

Dramaturge and Author

Since 2006, he has worked with Junges Ensemble Stuttgart (JES) and now serves as one of the artistic directors of its international festival "Schöne Aussicht / Bright View". Following a traineeship, several years as a sports editor for the newspaper Goslarsche Zeitung and a trip around the world, he studied dramaturgy at Spielstatt/ the Academy of Performing Arts in Ulm. Upon completion of his studies, he worked as a dramaturge for the children ´s and youth departments of the theatres in Heidelberg (zwinger3) and Mannheim (Schnawwl) as well as in the drama department of Nationaltheater Mannheim.
