Lou is a world champion in waiting and playing cards. Supertrumpf (Super Trump) is the name of the card game that she played with the nurses at the clinic while her parents were visiting her older sister, Maya. Now that Maya is back at home, she counts the peas on her plate at meals. She is not allowed to exercise, eat alone or even go to the mall. Maya ´s anorexia threatens to crack the family ´s foundations. Lou feels excluded and misunderstood. Yet at the same time, she longs to assume more responsibility.
Winner of the Kathrin Türks Award 2014, this play finds touching and insightful ways to focus on the healthy little sister at the heart of a family crisis.
