In "Murikamification", Erik Kaiel demonstrates his extraordinary public-space performance style. This performance invites audiences to step inside the daydream that unfolds before their eyes. Inspired by the magical, surrealistic stories of Japanese author Haruki Murakami, Kaiel has created an intensely physical and absurd performance trail. In each new city, the work is adapted to the local context. With each version of "Murikamification", a diverse and curious audience is overwhelmed by wondrous scenery in the streets of their own city.
